The magnificent Hotel Sumski Feneri (“Forest Lanterns”) is quietly situated at the foot of Pelister National Park only 4 km away from the town Bitola and 25 km from the Greek border. It is located 900 metres above sea level in the most picturesque surroundings in a stunningly beautiful part of the country. All rooms are individually furnished and provide superb views either across the valley, the old town or up to the mountains. The hotel lies within lush and fresh woods where over 200 species live in their natural habitat and the healthy air helps to completely unwind. Bitola is an ancient city that under the Ottoman rule was known as the city of consuls, as consulates from 12 countries were located there. Today, it is the second largest city in Macedonia and an important cultural and business spot.
